Start with the source
Tell us when the wet area appeared, whether the water supply was shut off and what work has already been done. Replacing a panel does not establish that a plumbing or exterior leak has been corrected.
Define the opening
Access can involve flooring, underlayment, cabinets or plumbing fixtures. The written scope should identify what will be removed, which finishes will be protected, and where a visible transition may remain.
Restore in a sensible order
After access and condition review, the proposal can define damaged-material removal, panel support, related framing work and finish restoration. Drying or other specialist work may need to happen before closure.
Photos help start the review. Access, concealed conditions and required professional review can change the construction scope.
